چکیده
The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficiency ultrafiltration process (UF) in cleansing treatment tilapia surimi washing water and recovery components. After producing surimi, generated operations subjected UF a 30 kDa polyethersulfone membrane. Unfiltered waters permeate concentrate were analyzed for pH, total solids (TS) fixed (FS), proteins, lipids. chemical oxygen demand (COD) determined original permeate. dehydrated spray dryer amino acids carotenoids. showed significant decrease TS, proteins COD, indicating that efficient removing organic load from waters. percentage protein by 93.12% had all essential acids, being leucine (5.47%), lysine (6.49%), valine (3.59%), phenylalanine (3.68%) those with highest concentrations, also 0.67 mg/100 g application has proved be viable both valuable compounds decontamination water, contributing sustainability fish productive sector.

Recovery of valuable soluble compounds from washing waters generated during small fatty pelagic surimi processing by membrane processes.
This work focuses on the treatment of washing waters coming from surimi manufacturing using ultrafiltration technology at a laboratory scale. Four membrane materials (poly-ether sulfone, polyacrilonytrile, poly vinylidene fluoride and regenerated cellulose) and 5 Molecular Weight Cut-Off (from 3 to 100 kDa) have been studied at bench laboratory scale using the pilot Rayflow 100, commercialised ...
متن کاملThe shelf-life of conventional surimi and recovery of functional proteins from silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) muscle by an acid or alkaline solubilization process during frozen storage
The shelf-life of conventional surimi and isolated proteins that modified by acidic pH (2.5) and by using alkali pH (11) from silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) was studied during months of storage at -18±2 °C. For conventional surimi, three washing steps were used. In the third stage of washing, 0.2% NaCl was used to withdraw more water. The result showed that isolated protein by alkali...

متن کاملDead-end hollow-fiber ultrafiltration for recovery of diverse microbes from water.
Dead-end ultrafiltration (DEUF) is an alternative approach to tangential-flow hollow-fiber ultrafiltration that can be readily employed under field conditions to recover microbes from water. The hydraulics of DEUF and microbe recovery for a new DEUF method were investigated using 100-liter tap water samples. Pressure, flow rate, and temperature were investigated using four hollow-fiber ultrafil...
متن کاملLECTURE Ultrafiltration versus Cell Washing for Blood Concentration
History of Autologous Blood Use---------The concept of using the patient as his own blood donor is more than 100 years old. Autotransfusion was used sporadically in the past as an emergency measure when the patient's life was in danger due to sudden massive hemorrhage and lack of donor blood supply. Autotransfusion is essentially credited to an English obstetrician/surgeon, Dr. James Blundell. ...
